Chris Zarpentine is Associate Professor of Philosophy, Chair of the Division of Global Cultures: History, Languages & Philosophy, and Adjunct Faculty in the Passan School of Nursing, where he has taught in the Nursing Ph.D. program since 2017. He holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy and an M.A. in the History and Philosophy of Science from Florida State University. Before coming to Wilkes University in 2013, he taught at the University of Utah. His research focuses on issues at the intersection of ethics and science and has been published in Mind, Neuroethics, Biological Conservation, and Philosophical Psychology.
