Adult-Gerontology Coordinator; Full-Time Faculty of Practice

Dr. Jennifer Moses is a full-time faculty of practice professor at Wilkes University in the Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner program. Prior to the appointment she was an adjunct clinical instructor. Dr. Moses is a nationally board-certified geriatric nurse practitioner, and her area of specialty is in long-term care, hospice and palliative care. Currently, Dr. Moses has clinical practice with Optum (part of United Health Care) where she serves as an intensivist for a skilled nursing facility in northeast Pennsylvania. 

Dr. Moses earned her associate degree in nursing at Palm Beach Community College, her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing at Florida Atlantic University and her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Bloomsburg University. 

Dr. Moses is an advocate for bringing awareness and compassion to patients and families with Alzheimer’s disease. She serves as a conference committee member on The Florida Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine, which focuses on educating and improving the care of nursing home patients.
