Dr. Jennifer Moses is a Full Time Faculty of Practice Professor at Wilkes University, Passan School of Nursing. She became full time after obtaining her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Bloomsburg University in May 2019. Prior to that time she served as an adjunct clinical instructor for 5 years teaching in the Adult-Gerontology Primary Care NP program at Wilkes. Dr. Moses has been a nationally board certified Geriatric Nurse Practitioner since 2009 where she attended Florida Atlantic University and she has been a nurse since 1998. Her area of specialty is in long term care where she has years of experience as a Skilled Nursing Facility Intensivist taking care of Acute/Subacute skilled patients as well as long term care patients. She is also specializes in Hospice and Palliative care. Currently Dr. Moses has clinical practice with Optum which is part of United Health Care taking care of members in nursing homes in Northeast PA.
She resides with her spouse, 2 children and multiple rescue animals. In her free time she volunteers at a local Animal Refuge walking dogs. She also is involved in Alzheimer’s walks and is an advocate for bringing awareness and compassion to patients and families with Alzheimer’s disease. Dr. Moses has worked at Florida Atlantic University’s memory care center.
Dr. Moses also serves as a Conference Committee member on The Florida Society for Post Acute and Long Term Care Medicine which focuses on educating and improving care of the Nursing Home Patient.
