Primary Care for Patients of All Ages and Families

Our Family Nurse Practitioner track will allow you to analyze evidence-based practice to facilitate direct care for health promotion, protection and disease prevention. You’ll understand how to apply critical-thinking skills to clinical decision-making and diagnostic reasoning for prioritizing care and demonstrating communication skills to impact patient outcomes physically, psychosocially, spiritually, cognitively and developmentally.

Admission Requirements | Associate Degree in Nursing (R.N.) to Master of Science in Nursing ­– Nurse Practitioner

  • Associate Degree in Nursing with a 3.0 GPA
  • Unencumbered R.N. license
  • One year of clinical experience (by the start of the nurse practitioner clinical courses)
  • Resume and cover letter

Admission Requirements | Master of Science in Nursing­ – Nurse Practitioner 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with a 3.0 GPA
  • Unencumbered R.N. license
  • One year of clinical experience (by the start of the nurse practitioner clinical courses)
  • Resume and cover letter

Admission Requirements | Post-graduate/A.P.R.N. Certificate

  • Master/Doctoral in Nursing or Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing to Doctor of Nursing Practice degree with a 3.0 GPA
  • Unencumbered R.N. license
  • One year of clinical experience (by the start of the nurse practitioner clinical courses)
  • Resume and cover letter
